I tried drawing Black Lady from Sailor Moon as a MadoMagi Witch. I just LOVE Gekidan Inu Curry’s work in Puella Magi.
This sketch is several months old. Unfortunately I had a problem with my computer so I lost all sources of the textures and elements I used :( I do remember they were from Deviantart mostly. The throne was very referenced too.
The witch runes up there spell ”Lady”. Maybe I will try drawing again in this style (And try to mimic it a little better)

I would say that Suikoden is the last thing I would have expected to find crossed over with Madoka Magica, but (a) I’m pretty sure Pixiv can come up with something more unexpected still, and (b) it seems oddly natural somehow, though I’d never have come up with it on my own.

(The Soul Gem is a doujinshi item from Japan I bought online last summer. The ring is the official US release GE Animation ring that I removed from the chain & coated with clear nail-polish to protect my finger from possibly reacting to whatever it’s made out of.)
